Hi, everybody. Here are helpful hints that we have discussed in class. I hope that they will be useful.
1. You can call 911 from any cell phone. It will connect you to the emergency line even if the battery is down or your phone is really old and has not been used for a long time.
2. If you want to find a telephone of any organization or business, call 411.
3. If you do not want a person to know your number when you call him or her, then before dialing his or her number dial *67 (Star 67). The person you are calling will see the word "Restricted" on his phone instead of your number.
4. If you have locked your car keys inside your car and can not open it, you can call somebody who has extra keys from your car, and that person can push an open button on your extra car keys directing them towards the phone. That way the signal will travel to your car and will open it. Try it. It worked for me!!!!!
